Description

A Rolex Submariner Date, reference 126610LV, in ink on watercolor paper, no color anywhere, the third of three studies of the same watch, each drawn from a different vantage point. This one pulls back to a wider, more rotated angle, letting the bracelet's full length into the frame instead of cropping tight on the dial the way the other two do. Together, the three studies work like a single subject examined from every side, closer to how a jeweler actually looks at a piece than how a single product photo ever could. Part of the Face Me series, where the timepiece gets the same attention as a portrait.
