Description

A Rolex Submariner Date, reference 126610LV, in ink on watercolor paper, no color anywhere, the first of three studies of the same watch, each drawn from a different vantage point. This one catches it at an angle, the crown and date window turned toward the viewer, the case foreshortening the way it actually would on a wrist instead of lying flat the way most watch photography presents it. Part of the Face Me series, where the timepiece gets the same attention as a portrait.
