Description

A Rolex GMT Master II "Pepsi," reference 126710BLRO, in ink on watercolor paper. The bezel insert and Jubilee bracelet all built entirely from line work, no color anywhere, which means the "Pepsi" nickname exists here only as information, not as something you can actually see. It's the closest thing in this collection to drawing a watch by its reputation instead of its colors, since the whole identity of this reference is a blue-and-red bezel the artist has deliberately left out. Part of the Face Me series, where the timepiece gets the same attention as a portrait.
