UTS München is the work of one person. Nicolaus Spinner is a German mechanical engineer near Munich who mills every case himself from a solid block of surgical-grade stainless steel, then assembles, regulates, and tests each watch by hand. He has done it this way since 1999, at a rate of around 200 watches a year, with no factory floor and no team behind him. What we carry is the output of one engineer who refused to do it the easy way.

The catalog runs from the 500M Adventure through the 4000M diver, and every case gets the same overbuilt treatment regardless of depth rating. Hex-screwed casebacks, thick sapphire crystals, German-milled cases paired with proven Swiss movements, the line collectors call "German case, Swiss heart." These are tool watches, built to be worn at depth by people who actually dive. Collectors who find one care about the engineering first. The name recognition comes later, if it comes at all.

The pieces here came through a private collection, built quietly over time by someone who knew what they were looking for. Taken together, this is a larger concentration of UTS München in one place than you will find anywhere else on the secondary market right now. UTS rarely surfaces in any real number, and when it does, it tends to move fast. We are glad to be the ones holding it for now.
